Compassionate support for life with chronic conditions, pain, and injury.
Unpack the fear, anxiety, and grief of living with a chronic condition, and reconnect with who you are.
Meet Stacy.
I’m Stacy–a psychotherapist, coach, lifelong adventurer, and multiple autoimmune thriver, committed to helping individuals, couples and caregivers cope with the challenges of living with chronic conditions, pain, and acute injuries.
If you’ve found me, it’s likely you’ve been struggling with the overwhelm and burnout that comes with managing a chronic condition, living with persistent pain, or adjusting to life post-injury. Maybe you’ve found some coping strategies, but still don’t feel like yourself. Perhaps you’re new on this journey and feeling a little lost. We often don’t talk enough about the loss of self, confusion, hopelessness, grief, anxiety, stigma, isolation, and loneliness that can follow a diagnosis. I’m here to make space for that.
In our work together, we’ll explore the full spectrum of physical, mental, emotional, and social impacts of living with a chronic condition, life changing injury, or chronic pain. Whether you are the person with the condition, their caregiver, or a partner supporting them, we’ll navigate this journey together. As we process your experience of chronic illness, my hope is that we will uncover not only new coping strategies, but a new self, centered in what is most meaningful.
Return to Yourself
You’ve been overwhelmed by fatigue, mental fog that makes concentrating impossible, and a deep-seated frustration from missing out on things you once enjoyed. The constant battle against your own body, paired with the relentless demands of everyday life, has left you emotionally and physically drained. You might still be waiting for a diagnosis, leaving you in a state of uncertainty and fear. The result is a profound sense of isolation and a persistent feeling that you’ve never done enough, and you can’t keep up. There is an invisible burden to living with a chronic condition or being a caregiver, that often goes unnoticed by those around you.
Drawing on my expertise and specialized knowledge—shaped by years of working with people like you and enriched by training specific to chronic illness, pain, injury rehabilitation, and health-related concerns—I will work with you to regain a sense of control, improve your overall quality of life, and reconnect with the activities you find most meaningful and fulfilling.
Work with me.
As a therapist with a deep understanding of the mental health complexities associated with chronic conditions, pain, and caregiver burnout, I’m not here to offer a temporary fix or a standard set of coping techniques. Instead, we will work together to safely and compassionately explore the nuanced challenges of living with chronic illness, advocate for the support you need to manage your condition, and guide you back to a life you truly cherish.
